Scholastic has April sweepstakes for parents
Scholastic is offering an online sweepstakes for a bundle of Baby Einstein brand goodies this month. Enter to win the Baby Einstein sweepstakes, Thai Kitchen sweepstakes, or "Tale of Desperaux" contest by visiting their home page.
Greetings. Welcome to For Children's Sake. It is my hope that For Children's Sake will become your favorite online haunt for parenting news and views, craft ideas, community, and more. Humor, parenting tips (and questions of my own), book and product reviews, and mommy musing (I'll try to keep it to a minimum...we ALL have cute kids!) will be standard fare.
I have included some fun and helpful features, as well. Just for fun, you will be treated to a weekly poll. There is a list of links that like-minded parents might enjoy. I have included a newsreel, as well, which will direct you to the top articles related to children, infants, and parenting, for the day.
The Recommended Children’s Authors list will be constantly expanding. Seriously, blink and it will get longer. I am not quite that efficient, but you get the idea!
Comments are open to all, but you will be required to enter a code to leave your message. I have done this to prevent readers from having to sort through spam while trying to participate in discussions. Any comments that don't add to the discussion but are being posted solely as a means to sell something will be deleted. I realize it is a slight inconvenience, but typing a few extra letters will be less of a pain in your neck than sorting through countless inappropriate ads.
I will, on occasion, post information about freebies or offer prizes or gifts to readers. Unless otherwise stated, I have no link to the companies, authors, products, or books mentioned. All it means is that I got my hands on some good loot or found a deal and am spreading the wealth.
Once again, welcome to For Children’s Sake. Thank you for visiting, and come again soon!
